The Greenville County Coroner's Office has identified the victim in a shooting.

Tracie Lynn Gilbert, 31, of Travelers Rest was pronounced dead around 3:00 p.m. Sunday at a home on Pleasant Retreat Road.

The autopsy determined the victim died from a gunshot wound to the head.

The case has been determined to be a homicide.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting on Pleasant Retreat Road in Travelers Rest Sunday afternoon.

Deputy Drew Pinciaro tells 7 On Your Side when they arrived on the scene shortly before 3 p.m. where they found a deceased 31 year old woman had been shot at least one time.

Pinciaro says investigators believe this was a domestic situation between a boyfriend and girlfriend who have a child in common.

Deputies have a male in custody.

No names have been released in the case.
