The Cherokee County Sheriff says his school resource officer is investigating a fight at Gaffney High School caught on video.

The video was posted on Facebook and shared to WSPA's Facebook page and emailed to us by several people.

The video was removed soon after, but not before we were able to record it.

The sheriff says a 14 year old juvenile will be charged with 3rd degree assault and battery and disturbing school and will appear in family court.

District leaders said the students involved in the incident were from the Cherokee County Alternative School.

Superintendent Quincie Moore said the Alternative School bus arrived at Gaffney High School before normal dismissal time.

The video shoes that there were not adults there to break up the fight.

Profane language is also repeated throughout the recording.

"The driver was the adult out there and so we're investigating that. We're pulling video and trying to see what the situation was and we're talking to the driver and trying to understand. Were going to fully investigate and do whatever means are necessary from all standpoints," Moore said.

The juvenile has been released on a custodial promise to appear in court.
