CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Dennis Guinn hit an RBI double off the

centerfield wall to break open a 5-5 tie as Florida State scored

four runs in the 10th inning and held off a Clemson rally to win

9-8 Saturday night.

The Seminoles (38-7, 20-5 Atlantic Coast Conference) were held

scoreless through seven innings, then tied the game with a

three-run eighth. Jeff Stidham went 2-for-5 with three RBIs,

including a two-run double to left centerfield to start the scoring

for Florida State.

Clemson (24-21-1, 10-14-1 ACC) rallied in the bottom of the 10th

on a three-run homer by Kyle Parker. Then Florida State catcher

Buster Posey moved to the mound after playing the whole game behind

the plate to get the final two outs, including a strikeout.

Doug Hogan hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to

send the game into extra innings.
