The expected shake-up of USC's starting rotation has been announced by head coach Ray Tanner and former Greenville High stand-out Will Atwood is among those impacted.

Atwood moves into the number one starter's role beginning Friday night at Arkansas after Mike Cisco was shifted from the rotation to the bullpen.

Nick Godwin, who's been effective as a mid-week starter, goes into the number two slot behind Atwood.

Atwood is 5-2 with a 4.33 earned run average this season while Godwin has posted a 5-2 mark with a sterling 2.48 ERA.

Cisco is 5-3 with an ERA of just under five and had struggled of late.

Blake Cooper remains third in USC's starting rotation.
