Prep Zone
High School sports have always been an important part of the local community. For years now, WSPA has been providing extensive coverage of both High School basketball and football We are now taking it to the next level by covering all aspects of High School athletics with the Chevy Prep Zone!
The Chevy Prep Zone is an on-air feature during Pete Yanity’s sportscast during the 6pm and 11pm news every Monday and Thursday. The Chevy Prep Zone will highlight important achievements in all high school sports such as, soccer, track & field, baseball, softball, golf, swimming, wrestling, and of course football and basketball. Viewers will hear about important game schedules, stories of determination and spirit as well as athletes’ involvement in the community.

Chevy Prep Zone Scholar Athletic Nomination
One senior student will be selected to receive a $500.00 Scholarship and a 19’ HDTV. This student should exhibit strong academic and athletic talents. If you know someone who is deserving of this academic scholarship please fill out the nomination form below and submit your deserving high school senior.
