Power outages reported for Duke customers across the Upstate, WNC

UPSTATE, S.C. (WSPA) - There are hundreds of Duke Energy customers without power Sunday afternoon following severe weather across the Upstate and Western N.C.

Roughly 700 people are affected in Anderson County, just under 600 people in Spartanburg County, and over 480 affected in Cherokee County.

In Western North Carolina, there are reports of scattered outages, with Asheville reporting roughly 70 affected customers in their area and 70 more around Franklin, N.C.
