News Channel 7 expects to learn new information Monoday on a triple-murder that sparked an AMBER Alert in North Carolina. The “Asheville Citizen Times” reports an autopsy is scheduled Monday for 49-year-old Angie Heatwole, the mother investigators say was killed by her ex-husband.
Buncombe County Sheriff’s Deputies say Richard Heatwole murdered her, and two others in Candler before kidnapping their children and holding police at bay in Alexander County, NC.
Officers say Heatwole took his own life, but they rescued the children. Investigators believe he bludgeoned at least two of victims to death.
