Council: 1,000 Jobs Could Come to Greenville County

One thousand new jobs could be coming to Greenville County if a deal goes through with the subsidiary of an unnamed international company. The county council wants the firm’s North American Headquarters and customer service center to set up shop in the Upstate. Council members approved a resolution Tuesday night that allows the Greenville area development company to make an offer to them. Greenville county is competing with Texas and Virginia for the jobs.
