A mother accused of concealing evidence in her daughter’s felony DUI crash has pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice. Kelly Furr is accused of taking cans of computer cleaner from the car shortly after the crash and hiding them. Her daughter, Heather Hewitt, has previously pleaded guilty to two counts of felony DUI. Prosecutors say she huffed cleaner while behind the wheel of a friend’s car moments before they crashed. Two of her passengers were critically injured. Jamie Maxwell was left in a semi-conscious state, unable to walk, talk or feed herself.
