A happy ending to a scary day for a Columbus family.
A missing woman who wandered away from her apartment Monday has been found safe. Joyce Elaine Earley was discovered driving the wrong way on the interstate near Chapel Hill earlier this evening. She has been picked up by the Highway Patrol and the family will travel to Chapel Hill to pick her up. She was driving the 2000 Ford Focus she was last seen driving yesterday. Only NewsChannel 7 was at her home when family found out she was found. Watch the report here.
