The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office released a new sketch Thursday of a rape suspect from an attack in the Terra Pines subdivision.
The new sketch adds a darker skin tone and acne scars on both cheeks of the man, as he was described by the victim.
The college student was jogging along Terramont Drive around 9:30am on June 8 when she says she was attacked and sexually assaulted. She was taken down an embankment during the attack. The victim says she crawled back up and went for help after the man left.
The victim is also telling investigators that the suspect is in his 20s and is not a teenager. She also remembered he was wearing white tennis shoes at the time of the attack.
A neighbor in that area has helped establish a $20,000 reward to help find the suspect.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
