Chuck Baldwin, the Constitution Party Candidate for President was at the Beacon Wedneday stumping for votes in Spartanburg.
Baldwin, of Pensacola, Florida, was nominated as the Constitution Party candidate in April 2008.
The Constitution Party is the third largest party in the country based on voter registrations, according to the party’s Web site.
The CP Web site states that if Baldwin is elected he will “protect the lives of the unborn, abolish the IRS and the Federal Reserve, support home schooling, and eviscerate vast numbers of unconstitutional federal programs like the Department of Energy and Social Security (“which is nothing more than socialism”).“
