Roof Collapses From Flames In Spartanburg

A house fire on North Blackstock Road in Spartanburg that collapsed a roof has been ruled accidental according to Captain Means of the North Spartanburg Fire Department.
Originally reported early Monday afternoon, the fire started as a trash fire that spread through dry grass, caught an outbuilding on fire and spread to the residence. There was moderate damage to the roof and rear of the home.
No one was hurt.
