Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Four, Searching For One In Home Invasion

Spartanburg County deputies have charged five people involved in a home invasion on Friday night.
According to a report released by the Sheriff’s Office, 18-year old Travis Jermichael Moore of Woodruff, 18-year old Antonio Dupree Jefferson, 21-year old James Allen Cullen, and 16-year old Lakevion Donte Ferguson of Woodruff have been arrested and charged with the incident at 1605 Wilkie Road in Chesnee. Moore has been charged with first-degree burglary and armed robbery, while Ferguson and Jefferson have each been charged with accessory after the fact of a felony. The Sheriff’s Office is also searching for and have charged 20-year old Donovan Tremain Cheeks of Enoree with burglary and first-degree robbery.
The report states that Sheriff’s deputies responded to the location in an effort to assist Highway Patrol with a wreck involving a silver 2004 Ford Crown Victoria that had bullet holes in it and reports that shots were fired in the area. During the process of the investigation, a K-9 unit was brought to the location to search for several suspect involved in the home invasion and Moore was tracked down shortly after the K-9 unit arrived. During the course of the investigation, Moore told investigators that he and some associates had went to the residence to buy drugs and had returned to the residence a short time after leaving to rob the resident.
Investigators believe that a vehicle chase ensued after the robbery and resulted in the car crashing near Highway 9 and Little Africa Road. After impounding the vehicle and determining it was registered to Cullen and it tested positive for cocaine in the backseat.
