Sheriff’s Office Is Investigating Home Invasion

The Spartanburg Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion that occurred just after 8 p.m. on Friday night.
A Sheriff’s report states that a 48-year old man living at 601 Nodding Hill Road in Spartanburg told officers that two black males opened the screen door to his residence and walked in. The man said that the men confronted him and demanded money.
During the course of the incident, the victim says he told the two men he did not have any money and was told that “we’ll beat you if you don’t.” The man told officers that the suspects proceeded to go through his personal belongings before finding $100 in a pair of jeans that were lying on the couch. The man says that the two men went through his dresser and then grabbed a fishing pole near his front door and took a phone before leaving.
The victim said that the suspects got into a black car and left the location. The suspects are described as being 25-32 years old, 5-foot-11 and 165-pounds each with black hair and brown eyes. If anyone has any information they are asked to call Spartanburg CrimeStoppers at 58-CRIME.

I watch your news cast just about every day, and I`ve notice in most your reporting crimes,“ you never give the suspects descriptions (unless they are white) Yes, the descriptions of this story is on the enter-net, but all the viewer`s that depend on who,are what to look for,“MAY NOT” have a computer to get the rest of the story, that was`nt told over the TV. Just like this story,
I watched mornning, noon, and the evenning news, and not a “one” said two black men walked into this mans house, and robbed him . But they DID say, the two men drove-off in a black car ! You mean, if they`re not in a black car,“ we don`t have anything to worry about ? I think “ALL THE Viewers”
have the right to know all, and the most important things about the story,
and reporting a crime, ITS ALWAYS best to know if he, are she, is white, black,Asian,Mexican, are any other race . I would think, beings alot of viewers depend on your story`s about what is happening in our great state, they deserve to know the race of the people that are commiting these crimes ! You Guy`s do a great job, but some times, I think you leave out the most important things “description of the suspects . The public, can`t help, unless they know what to look for .

You just cannot leave your doors unlocked nor answer it for strangers nowadays even in the daytime. My children are grown and gone and even during daylight hours, my doors are bolted as well as a German Shepard standing guard outside. The .38 I keep within reaching distance also gives me a sense of security while the Mr. is at work. This being in one of the quietest, safest (seemingly) areas in the city. It’s a shame to have to live like this but being unprepared could sign your death warrant.
