Antonio Terrelle Evans pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon. Spartanburg County deputies responded to an attempted robbery on August 26, 2007. The victim stated that a man, later identified as Evans, approached her as she sat in her car and pointed a small black pistol at her. Investigators say Evans ordered the victim out of her car, but she refused and instead used her cell phone to call for help. Evans ran away, but was located later that day with the loaded gun in his pocket. Evans has prior convictions of possession of a stolen vehicle and failure to stop for a blue light. Because of that, Evans was prohibited from possessing a gun. The maximum penalty is a fine of $250,000 and 10 years in prison. A judge will soon sentence Evans.
