Upstate students are using a day out of school to bring extra cheer to sick children.
More than 40 students from Riverside High School in Greenville came to GHS Children’s Hospital Outpatient Center to decorate windows for Christmas. The students came up with the themes from a gingerbread house to the peanuts gang. They say it makes them feel good to see the children who will have to be in the hospital over the holiday smile.
“It’s just so cute you know the under water stuff and then they will just go through the different scenes and it’s been a lot of fun,“ said Riverside Junior Devon Thurman.
This is the 7th year Riverside High School students have decorated the windows for children.
