At about 9 a.m. this morning, Greenville County deputies say they reported to 430 South Fairfield Road after receiving a robbery report.

The Sheriff’s Office told us two men burst into the home demanding money. A man, woman and a one-month-old baby were inside.

The man was shot in the leg, however, all three were able to escape the home. The man was transported to Greenville Hospital.

The robbers are still inside, the Sheriff’s office said earlier, but after the SWAT team fired eight rounds of tear gas into the residence, Shea Smith, of the Sheriff’s Office, told us
no one was in the house after all.  They are now looking for two black male suspects on the run.  They have no idea where they are.

Witnesses to the scene were astounded. They say there must have been 40 to 50 officers on the scene and no one knows what happened to the suspects.

wspa.com didn’t show live streaming video of the scene to prevent giving the locations of SWAT officers away before they entered the home.
