The 2008 No Child Left Behind adequate yearly progress report will be released Wednesday at 10a.m.
Last year the South Carolina State Department of Education said 670 schools were not meeting the demands of “No Child Left Behind.“ That’s about the same number as 2006. The standards for the report are high. Schools must meet every single objective. That means 22 out of 23 means you do not meet the requirements. The state hoped to improve achievement goals by 50% for this year’s report. Check back at wspa.com Wednesday for updates.
