Gordon Dill Gordon Dill

Gordon is an anchor and reporter with 14 years of experience in the Upstate of South Carolina.  He joins WSPA as an investigative reporter and weekday anchor.

Gordon has been honored for his work with dozens of first place awards in political, consumer, environmental, sports, feature, series and spot news reporting from the Associated Press and the Radio and Television News Directors of the Carolinas including "South Carolina Television Reporter of the Year" in 2002, 2003, and 2005.

Gordon was named "Best Reporter in the Carolinas" in 2013 and the South Carolina Broadcasters Association awarded Gordon the "Award of Merit" as the state's "reporter of the year" in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Gordon has been nominated for three Emmy awards, winning one, for a story about a very young golfer with an especially sweet stroke.

But the highlight of Gordon's career came in March of 2011. Upon joining WSPA he's been matched with some of the best producers, photographers and reporters in journalism.  Gordon believes this is the best team he's ever worked with and hopes the best years of his career are just beginning.

Gordon is married to his college girlfriend, Beth, and has two beautiful (and kind) daughters.
