Emily Pace joined WSPA in November, 2011 as a Digital Journalist, also known as a one-man-band reporter.

Before coming to the Upstate, Emily worked for WACH, the FOX affiliate in Columbia, where she reported and anchored for nearly two years.  While in the Capital City, she covered numerous stories ranging from the inauguration of the state's first female governor and the affair allegations leading up to it, to the case against a mother in Orangeburg who confessed to killing her two children that gained national attention.

Emily is a South Carolina native, who hails from coastal Georgetown.  She graduated with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism.

After college, Emily packed a warm winter coat and headed north to Marquette, MI.  During her time at WLUC, the NBC affiliate covering the state's Upper Peninsula, Emily served as a reporter and Weekend Anchor.  She had the opportunity to cover a wide variety of different topics, from a high-profile murder trial to a 200 mile sled dog race.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys volunteering with various homeless organizations, running, watching reality TV, spending time with her husband, and traveling when she can.

Emily is excited to be living and working in the Upstate.   If you have any issues that you want covered, please let her know.
