Posted: Updated:
JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) -

The Storm Team 11 Forecast:

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout the evening hours today. Some of these storms may produce some heavy rain, high winds, and possibly small hail. The chance for showers and storms continues overnight tonight, although it doesn't look to rain throughout the night. Temperatures tonight dip back into the upper 60s.

Temperatures tomorrow will climb into the upper 80s under partly sunny skies. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout day the as well as a backdoor cold front moves through.

Rain chances decrease slightly for Sunday, although a few showers/storms may linger. By Monday, rain chances will be down to just 20% as highs reach only the mid 80s.

We look to stay dry through the middle of the week before a few showers and storms may make a return by the end of the upcoming work week. Highs by next Thursday and Friday may also return into the upper 80s.

Have a great night!
