Heat and humidity will stick around for the rest of the week, so expect at least a few showers and storms to pop up each afternoon into and through the weekend. Highs will reach the lower to mid 90s Upstate on Wednesday with highs in the mid 80s. Some may not get rain, but there will be widely scattered storms as temps heat up in the afternoons. The rain coverage may increase some over the weekend and into Monday with a front that will be around, but it still looks like it won't be a washout for most people.
In the tropics, Tropical Storm Dolly is expected to make landfall later Tuesday night into early Wednesday in Northern Mexico. There are currently no other tropical troubles in the Atlantic, Gulf, or Caribbean.
