16 year old Katherine Magalas wins our February 2010 Caring for the Carolinas Award. She volunteers at the Spartanburg Humane Society fostering kittens that are up for adoption. She even uses some of her money to buy supplies for the animals. The Spartanburg Humane Society staff says she is one of the best volunteers they have.
