An inmate who met Robert Heydman in the smoking yard at Spartanburg Jail just took the stand at Heydman's murder trial.

John Foster is testifying that Heydman told him that he was having an affair with a woman named Angela Fowler that he met at church. He said Heydman told him Angela asked him to kill her husband and that her husband had $90,000 in a safety deposit box at the bank that she would pay him with.

"He got a call to come over to the house one day. He said it was a call from Richard to come do an estimate on a wheelchair ramp and he came over in '99 forest green van. He came through the back door, which was left open for him, and he heard a noise and he came in the back and Richard was laying in the bed and Dawn was stabbing him and he took an ax handle and hit him over the head and in the chest," John Foster said.

Richard Fowler's daughter also testified in court. She told the jury she remembers her mother, Angela Fowler, driving her to middle school on December 13, 2006. She also remembers the last time she saw her father alive. "I just walked in there and said I love you and he said I love you have a good day," the teen said.

Deputies found the missing juror at home. His mother failed to wake up him up. The judge seemed understanding because the young man was really embarressed.

So far the court has heard from more investigators, cell phone companies concerning phone records and the victim's daughter.

Melissa Fowler, now in high school, was attending Boiling Springs Middle at the time of her father's murder.

She testified that her mom, Angela Fowler, dropped her off at school on Dec. 13, 2006. Before she left for school her father told her he loved her and she told him she loved him.
