An Upstate piano teacher faces charges, accused of criminal sexual conduct with a 13 year old.  According to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, Roman Isaac Harkins, from Easley, had a sexual relationship with one of his students in 2011.

The Sheriff's office says Harkins provided piano lessons at New Life Baptist Church.  His accuser told investigators that the incident happened on church grounds during one of the lessons.  At the time, Harkins was 23 years old and the accuser was 13 years old.

Harkins was arrested Wednesday and charged with second degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a minor.  Harkins was taken to the Greenville County Detention Center where he later posted a $30,000 bond and was released.

Investigators say they're checking into the possibility of additional assaults and  ask anyone with information to call 271-5210 or Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
