CULLOWHEE, N.C. (AP) - Trey Sumler finished with a game-high 26 points, including the game-winning jumper with 2 seconds left to rally Western Carolina past

Wofford 57-56 Monday night.

Sumler went 4 of 7 from behind the arc, grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and recorded three steals for Western Carolina (10-15, 7-6 Southern Conference).

Down 50-43 with 7 minutes remaining, Tawaski King's jumper capped a 7-0 run for Western Carolina, tying the game at 50-all with 2:25 to play.

After Sumler's 3-pointer with less than 2 minutes to play put the Catamounts ahead 53-52, Karl Cochran answered with a jumper to put

Wofford on top 54-53 with 59 seconds remaining.

Sumler responded with a layup to go on top 55-54 but Spencer Collins' jumper put

Wofford ahead 56-55 with just 16 ticks left.

Sumler converted the game-winner on the Catamounts' ensuing possession.

Collins led the Terriers (10-16, 4-9) with 20 points.
