OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. -

One student was injured in a bus wreck in Oconee County Monday afternoon.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says it happened around 4:15 p.m. on Unity Church Road near Well Mountain Road.

Five people were on the bus, including four children, when it ran off the right side of the road and slid down an embankment, rolling over on its side.

The student was taken to the Oconee County Medical Center.  The extent of the injuries has not been released.
