There are two elections underway Tuesday in Spartanburg and Greenville counties.

Voters in Woodruff will finally settle the race for mayor. The results from November, 2012 were tossed out after officials determined a poll clerk handed out the wrong ballots.

Mayor Brad Burnett is running for another term against Woodruff Councilman Kenneth Gist and former Councilwoman Lisa White.

The polls in Woodruff are open until 7:00 p.m.

Voters in northern Greenville County are also going to the polls Tuesday, but only one name is on the ballot in one race.

Mike Burns won the Republican primary and runoff to be nominated to replace Tom Corbin in the South Carolina House District 17 race.

Corbin was elected last year to serve in the South Carolina Senate.

Burns is the only candidate listed on the ballot, but state law requires that an election be held.

The polls in that district are open until 7:00 p.m.
