TD Bank held a job fair Saturday amid the grand opening of its new call center in Greenville.
Hundreds of people lined up for the opportunity to apply for prospective jobs with the company and get a glimpse of the new call center with its open house. The call center is part of the bank's regional center which will include auditing, technology and customer service.
The job fair was an opportunity for the company to recruit for nearly 300 open positions in the Greenville area. TD Bank is looking for candidates with bilingual skills (Spanish or French).
"In Greenville, we're absolutely thrilled with the work force," said Simon Hong, of TD Bank. "In a very short period of time, the contact center has had over 8,000 applicants."
People who were unable to make it to the job fair may also apply for any of the bank's open positions online at www.tdbank.com/careers.
