The winning numbers for Tuesday night's $261 million Powerball® drawing are 43-17-14-13-54 and the powerball was 15.
The drawing was the second this year with a value over $200 million. According to a release from the South Carolina Education Lottery, the odds of winning the jackpot are long, about 1 in 176 million.
The last time South Carolina sold a jackpot winning ticket was in August of 2009, when Solomon Jackson Jr. won $259 million.
