A large crowd turned out for what has become a St. Patrick's Day tradition in Greenville.
The annual St. Patty's Day Dash and Bash was held Saturday morning in downtown Greenville at Fluor Field. It started out with a 10K road race and 5K road race with hundreds of runners participating with the goal of getting some exercise and helping out with a good cause.
All of the proceeds went to benefit three Greenville charities - The Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina, Camp Spearhead and Let There Be Mom. In all, over $100,000 was raised thanks to the event with the Make-A-Wish Foundation receiving $50,000 and Camp Spearhead and Let There Be Mom each receiving $25,000.
A Kids Fun Run was held following the road races and music and events were held later in the morning and early in the afternoon.
