The Transylvania County Sheriff's Office have released the names of the two people shot Sunday at a house in Pisgah Forest, NC.

Charlotte Ann Jones, 41, is in critical condition after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. 

47 year old Christopher John Glichowski was found dead at the scene on Oak Ridge Road with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Investigators are continuing to piece together the events that led up to the fatal shooting.

Deputies in Transylvania County are investigating a double shooting that left one person dead and another injured.

They say it happened just after 7 am Sunday at a home on Oak Ridge Road, one mile east of Brevard.

Deputies found a 41 year old woman with several gunshot wounds.  She was taken to a local hospital.

They also found a 47 year old man, who they say died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Deputies say they both shared the residence and believe it may have been an attempted murder-suicide.
