ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. -

A boil water advisory goes into effect Tuesday at 8am for parts of Anderson County.

According to the Anderson Regional Joint Water System, crews will start making planned improvements to the I-85 area and the east side of the transmission Main System.

Residents of Big Creek Water District, and the town of Williamston, should vigorously boil their water for at least one minute prior to human consumption.
