The man authorities say fired shots into a restaurant while a child was waiting in the car in Greenville has been sentenced to 30 months behind bars, followed by 3-year supervised release.

Anderson Crawford Waldrep, 29, entered a guilty plea in court Thursday.

Police say he fired several rounds into Moe's Southwest Grill on August Street in March.

It was later discovered that a 7-year-old child was left in Waldrep's vehicle for more than an hour while the shots were fired, investigators say.

Police in Greenville say they have arrested a man who they say fired shots into a restaurant while a child was waiting in the car.

Investigators say Anderson Crawford Waldrep, 29, fired several rounds into Moe's Southwest Grill on Augusta Street early Saturday morning.

Police say Waldrep was seen running from the area around 4 a.m. after gunshots were heard.

Waldrep had a semi automatic and revolver in his possession, according to warrants.

It was later discovered that a 7-year-old child was left in Waldrep's vehicle for more than an hour while the shots were fired, investigators say.

Six bullet holes were found in the outside of the building.

Waldrep has been charged with malicious damage, child abandonment, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
