House Destroyed By Fire In Downtown Greenville

Firefighters in the city of Greenville are battling a house fire.

Firefighters in the city of Greenville say a house fire appears to be accidental. They plan to look for a cause on Tuesday morning.

The fire started around 9 p.m. Monday on Stall Street at the intersection of Rutherford Street.

Investigators said the house was a total loss and owned by the Salvation Army. The person inside got out safely.
