A driver is dead and a woman was injured after a crash Tuesday morning near Chesnee.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the crash happened on Parris Bridge Road near Cotton Gin Road at 6:14 a.m.
A 19-year old woman from Una was driving a Chrysler south on Parris Bridge Road when the car crossed the center line according to troopers. The Chrysler hit a Ford Mustang head on, that was traveling north.
The driver of the Mustang died at the scene while the driver of the Chrysler was taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
The name of the victim hasn't been released by the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office.
