SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -

The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating a deadly wreck on Parris Bridge Road.

Troopers say a car hit another car head on, along Parris Bridge Road near Archibald Road Tuesday morning.

The coroner says one of the drivers, 53-year-old Nancy Elizabeth Frady, died at the scene from her injuries. She was wearing a seat belt. Frady was from Chesnee.

The driver of the other car was taken to a Spartanburg hospital. No word yet on that person's condition.
