The boil water advisory has been lifted for Big Creek Water District and the Town of Williamston.
Tests show the water as being safe for consumption, according to water officials.

A boil water advisory will remain in effect until at least Wednesday evening for Big Creek Water District and the Town of Williamston.
The Anderson Regional Joint Water System is performing upgrades to its transmission main system.
The Clemson Pump Station is being constructed and piping had to be disconnected as part of the process.
The Joint Water System boiled water advisory was issued Tuesday morning for the Big Creek Water District and the Town of Williamston. Water samples were collected Tuesday evening.
The water system reports it will take 24 hours to process the samples. That will leave the advisory in effect until at least 6:22 p.m. Wednesday.
