Progress is being made to repair some leaky roofs in three new schools in Anderson County District 5.

According to our news coverage partners at the Anderson Independent-Mail, a school official told the newspaper that the worst leaks at North Pointe Elementary, Glenview Middle School and Robert Anderson Middle School have been fixed, but smaller leaks still exist.  A school district official said that the district is holding back payments for the North Pointe construction until the final work has been completed.

The leaks were caused due after a manufacturing error caused heating, ventilation and air conditioning units on top of North Pointe to perspire and leaks through the roofs.
