SPARTANBURG, S.C. -

USC Upstate Students are working to show the hope for Spartanburg's future through artwork.

According to a press release, students will be at the Spartanburg downtown library from 7-9pm Thursday.

They have been interviewing the community, asking about hopes for the city and responsibilities to the community. The students are taking the responses and creating animation that will be projected onto the building.

Organizers say the artwork will celebrate the hopes of the city, and will be used to reevaluate the role of artists in the community.
