COLUMBIA, S.C. -

$320 Million – That's where Saturday night's Powerball jackpot sits, making it the fifth largest in game history.

The already bloated jackpot grew even fatter following Wednesday's drawing, leaving a cash payout of $198 million.

Lottery officials say they're experiencing increased ticket sales due to the soaring number.

"When we post a jackpot of this magnitude, it gets attention. Those that don't play very often decide to take a chance and many first-time players enter the game," said the Lottery's Executive Director Paula Harper Bethea. "As always, we encourage everyone to please, above all else, play responsibly."

In case you're wondering, the chance of winning is a long-shot at around 1 in 176 million.

The last time a jackpot winning ticket was sold in South Carolina was in August of 2009, when Solomon Jackson Jr. won $259 million.

Tickets cost $2 each.  Will you be playing?  If so, how many tickets will you purchase?  What would you do with the money if you won?  Leave a comment below and join the conversation.
