PICKENS, SC -

A woman was sentenced to 10 years in prison after a jury found her guilty of causing a wreck that left several people injured.

Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor Walt Wilkins stated Thursday that Christina Ann Reece, 37, of Pickens, was convicted of driving under the influence and driving under the influence resulting in great bodily injury.

According to Wilkins, evidence presented during the trial that showed Reece was under the influence of methamphetamine when the truck she was driving crossed the yellow line on Saluda Dam Road on April 30, 2011, and struck a car with three members of a family inside. All three members of the family, as well as Reece and the occupants of her truck were transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital due to injuries sustained in the wreck.
