Brian Dawkins says he's excited to share what he learned during his NFL career with the college players playing in the inaugural South Carolina College All-Star Bowl this weekend.
The nine-time Pro Bowl selection who played 16 seasons as a safety with Philadelphia and Denver is among the players and coaches with ties to the Palmetto State who will be at Saturday's matchup. Former Cincinnati and Tampa Bay head coach Sam Wyche is the game's commissioner.
Clemson's national championship coach, Danny Ford, heads one squad while College Football Hall of Fame member Willie Jeffries leads the other team.
The game is for college players from the state or who played on a state school. Dawkins says it's an additional chance for players to make a mark before the NFL draft.
