Three People Arrested, Charged In Rutherford County Meth Bust

RUTHERFORDTON, NC -

Three people have been arrested after Rutherford County deputies raided two homes Friday.

In a prepared release, the sheriff's office stated that Sergio Quirio and Stacy Howell were each arrested and charged with trafficking meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jimmy Nodine was arrested and charged with possession of meth.

Sheriff's office officials stated that a deputy with the sheriff's office narcotics unit went to 177 Dimsdasle Drive in Rutherfordton after receiving information about methamphetamine trafficking. The Deputy received a consent to search the home and another at 200 Pineview Drive in Rutherfordton. During the course of the searches, deputies located 39 grams of meth, five grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $560.

Quirio and Howell are currently being held at the Rutherford County Detention Center on $50,000 bond. Nodine was being held on $10,000 bond.
