Prom Dress Give Away Held On Saturday

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, S.C. -

On Saturday Upstate teens had the opportunity to get a free prom dress.

The S.C. Bar Young Lawyers Division sponsored its 13th annual Cinderella Project on Saturday. The project provides gently worn formal, bridesmaid and prom dresses for young women who lack the financial resources to buy a gown for their high school prom.

Logan Wells, Greenville Coordinator of the Young Lawyers Division says, "It's one of those pay it forward types of things. We had girls who were here last year wanting to know how they could donate the dress they got last year so someone else can wear it. It warms your heart."
