Liberty, S.C. -

Former Liberty High School Principal Randy Glister and former bookkeeper, Buea Denard, applied for pretrial intervention. Both Gilstrap and Denard face a charge of breach of trust with fraudulent intent.

Gilstrap's attorney says this is not an admission of guilty, but rather a neutral solution. Pretrial intervention is a program for first time, non-violent offenders. If participants successfully complete the program, charges against that person, could be dismissed.

Investigators charged Gilstrap in 2011 with breach of trust with fraudulent intent value $10,000 or more, embezzlement of public funds value $10,000 or more and financial transaction card fraud value more than $500.

Investigators charged Denard in 2011 with breach of trust with fraudulent intent value more than $2,000 but less than $10,00 and embezzlement of public funds value less than $10,000.
