Southern Conference sources tell 7 On Your Side another shakeup for the league is coming Wednesday when Appalachian State and Georgia Southern are expected to announce they're leaving the league to join the Sun Belt Conference and move up to the FBS, or Division 1A level.

Recently, both schools conducted studies to determine if moving up a level would be in their best interests.

The decision to go to the FBS level means they'll be in line for a share of the revenue from the new FBS national championship playoff that begins with the 2014 season.

Three schools have now left the SoCon in recent months.  The College of Charleston recently announced it was moving to the Colonial Athletic Association beginning next season.
