Upstate Non-Profit Offers Homeowners Free Rehab Services

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -

An Upstate non-profit group is helping homeowners spruce up their houses this spring.

The Promised Land Community Development Corporation is giving low-income families the chance to get emergency rehabilitation services for free. Those interested can register during two seminars being held this week.

The first is scheduled for Wednesday at the Pacolet Library, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The second event will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Promised Land Church on Kensington Drive in Spartanburg.

Those who plan to attend will need to bring the following items:

  • Proof of Income
  • Copy of the Deed
  • Personal Identification
