A jury has found a man accused of killing his girlfriend guilty Tuesday.

According to the Asheville Citizen-Times, 40-year-old Jermaine Glover was found guilty in court.

He'll spend at least 13 years behind bars for the death of Misty Lynn Carter.

Attorneys say she died from a blow to the head.  Her body was found in 2009.

This is the second trial for Glover.  The first trial ended in a mistrial after the jury deadlocked earlier this year.

Murder Suspect Jermaine Glover will get a new trial next month. Investigators say Glover killed his girlfriend, 22 year old Misty Carter, in 2009. They say he dumped her remains along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Buncombe County.

Earlier this month a jury deadlocked in the case and a judge declared a mistrial. The new trial is set to begin on April 22nd.

A Henderson County Superior Court Judge says he will not lower Glover's $1 million bond.
